Racing Schedule 2013
On this page I aim to list my upcoming racing schedule for the year and keep track of my results after the fact. Obviously things may change from time to time and I’ll do my best to keep it updated. In all honesty, I’m really only going to be looking to do races I don’t have to pay for. I love running and I love racing but this is twofold. One, I don’t really have it in my budget to spend the kind of money most longer races cost nowadays (heck, I can’t really rationalize spending $25-30 on a local 5k either). Wah wah Mark, priorities. Well, I have mine and paying rent and feeding myself are on the top of the list. Running races comes in somewhere behind. If you find we’re doing the same race, give me a holler and I’ll see you on the starting line!

March
2 - Umstead Marathon; Raleigh, NC — 3:26
April
7 - Umstead 100 miler; Raleigh, NC – DNS
June
2 - Running of the Bulls 8k; Durham, NC

9-10 - Croatan 24; Kinston, NC

Well, nothing is totally set in stone yet (I guess a few races are but not ALL of them) and I would LOVE an excuse to head up to, race, and hang out in New England. If you hear of any, just let me know. I’ll look for something.

I found most of these on Regrun.com, not sure how they line up with your schedule BUT they don’t interfere with any of my highland games :p and all have the benefit of being in my backyard.
