I tend to do a lot of ridiculous things while running, more so when not in a race. Airplane arms for turns, random animal noises, pretending I’m on a roller coaster on downhills, yeah… more fun than taking things seriously.

I still can’t really believe it either. I would have taken that bet (and been happy to lose it though).

I loved the “WHEEEEE” on Cedar Ridge. I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that goofy stuff in Umstead.

I still can’t believe you caught the second place finisher. After he passed me on Turkey Creek with nearly a mile lead, I would have bet real money on his win. Makes your win even more amazing.

That’s an amazing time on a TRAIL! I’m impressed. I also like your dialouge with yourself about moving into 1st. I’ve been on both sides of that situation in races before, passing that 1st place person is kind of awkward. You want to be cordial and encouraging, but not in a rub-it-in-your-face way.
